These are some links to businesses and organizations that we here at the Co-op want to support. They may be organizations that agree with our philosophies or just some local businesses that we would like to highlight.
- The Cornucopia Institute - A great resource for finding out information on the companies that make the products you buy.
- Dakota Rural Action - A grassroots organization (of which the Co-op is a member), that supports responsible local farming and conservation of natural resources.
- Sioux Falls Green Project - Check out all the green initiatives happening in the area and get some great tips.
- American Businesses for Clean Energy - An initiative to demonstrate large and small business support for Congressional enactment of clean energy and climate legislation.
- Mt. Pleasant Cemetery - A Sioux Falls cemetery making a serious commitment to green burials.
- Green Drinks - A great (and free!) way to meet up with other green-minded individuals in Sioux Falls.
- Sioux Falls Food Banks - Distributing Emergency Food Supplies to those in need of assistance in the Sioux Empire.
- Center For Science in the Public Interest - A nonprofit nutrition and food safety watchdog group. It's a great resource for nutrition and food safety information.
- Architecture for Humanity - A nonprofit design services firm with a chapter in Sioux Falls.
- Museum of Visual Materials - A great (and little known) Sioux Falls resource. Is housed in one of the greenest buildings in the area.
