We’re happy to be able to bring you a new source for local milk - Cedar Summit Farm. Located near New Prague, MN, Cedar Summit Farm is a family owned and operated dairy that been in the Minar family since 1926. No chemicals have been used on their farm since 1974 and in the early 90’s they began converting their conventionally raised, registered Holstein herd to an intensive, rotationally grazed, grass based herd. Today, they process non-homogenized, organic, 100% grass based milk, cream, and ice cream. Both milk and cream are bottled into returnable glass bottles and come to you in the purest form possible.
All products come to you from a Certified Organic, 4th Generation family farm that has a "5 cow" rating for purity and commitment to sustainability from the Cornucopia Institute. Be sure to look for the new Cedar Summit Farm products during your next stop at the Co-op.
