Wilde Prairie Winery is a family farm located just west of beautiful Splitrock Creek on wonderful rolling hills perfect for growing grapes. It's run by Jeff, Victoria, Sarah, Chris, and Pam Wilde along with the help of many friends. They have been making wine for 12 years now, and became South Dakota's 9th farm winery in July 2004. Their first vines were planted in 1997 and they now have 1300 vines.
There are several varieties of grapes grown at Wilde Prairie Winery as well as rhubarb, dandelions, and recently planted bushes and trees that will produce great new wines in the future.
