Membership
Membership in the Co-op means ownership. Upon joining, each member receives one share, signifying that you are now a co-owner of this unique corporation with all the other members. No one can own more than one share, so everyone has an equal voice.
Benefits of becoming a member:
- First and foremost, membership helps assure the Co-op's continued existence.
- Active members receive a daily discount of 5% off all in-store purchases.
- Active members receive a discount of 20% off retail price on all special orders.
- All members can vote at the annual meeting.
- All members can serve on the Board of Directors.
Cost:
Member Stock - $25.00
A one time purchase redeemable when leaving the Co-op.
Annual Active Member Fee - $36.00*
Annual fee set by the Board of Directors, that gives you in-store and special ordering discounts.
*Each fiscal year active member fee and benefits associated may change.
How to join?
It's easy! Just tell one of the clerks, “I want to join” and they will take your information and membership fee right at the checkout. You will receive your daily discount the day you join. Stock Certificates do take some time to generate as they require signatures from members of the Board of Directors, so we'll mail it to you as soon as possible.
